Glimpses of Awards day 2016-2017

The awards day function this year was a landmark event. It marked the 10th Anniversary of ABWA and was a proud moment for the school as well as our ABWA parent family. The event started with lighting of the lamp as the students recited the shlokas in the worship of Lord. The eminent guest, Ms. Schauna Chauhan along with our Chairperson Mrs. Birla, Principal Mrs. Radhika Sinha and the section heads illuminated the lamp as the function commenced.

The event performances were highly lauded by the parents as the students put up a very spirited show. Mrs. Birla's speech was one of the major highlights of the event where she shared the achievements and aspirations of ABWA. This was followed by Mrs. Radhika Sinha's speech and Ms. Schauna as the special guest of the function.

As the awards distribution progressed, the parents were highly appreciative about the new category included this year, the 100% Attendance Award. With the distribution of different categories of awards, the school felicitated the young achievers of ABWA.

The event showcased students' skilful acts at both Indian and Western dance forms, a philosophy that ABWA always looks to instil amongst the students. The western music performance put up the students received a warm response from the audience.

The event closure was done with a thank you note by our Activities Coordinator, Ms. Sneha Negandhi, to all the stakeholders of the ABWA family including the parent body whose support and belief brings the best out of everyone at ABWA.

The reception, from parents, of the event has been very encouraging. Mrs. Birla's informative speech was seen as a proud moment which instilled their belongingness to an institution that has been scaling new heights with every passing year. Ms. Schauna's presence as the special guest was applauded by one and all for being one of the most appropriate persons to be seen as a role model by the students. The show put up by students was highly appreciated by the parents as an amalgamation between entertainment and information.

The event marked yet another successful year with a highly successful closure with the Awards Day Function.
