Grade 7 Community service - Visit to Welfare to Stray Dogs

On December 10th, we visited the Welfare of Stray Dogs. It is a non-profit organization that takes care of abandoned pets and other stray dogs and cats. They vaccinate them and take care of the injured dogs. This helps reduce the stray dog population. The facility is well maintained and is built on an old killing compound which was abandoned as it was no longer used. As part of our community service we helped walk and bathe the dogs. The injured animals were being treated very well and with care and affection. We could see this when we took a tour of the kennel. Overall, I felt that the Welfare of Stray Dogs was doing a great job and I would encourage everyone to volunteer for their cause.
