Community Service HKG - 'Sharing and Caring Week'

‘Do your little bit of good there you are; it is those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world’-by Desmond Tutu.

14th February, being “Valentine Day”, we wished to have our little ones shower their love and affection to the less unfortunate ones. Therefore, the Community Service Cell in our school decided to conduct the 'Sharing and Caring Week' for the HKG students.

The goal of the community service project was to instill the values of sharing and caring among our children, thereby developing them into more empathetic and sensitive young individuals.

The students of Grade HKG executed their Community Service project in the following manner:

  • 3rdFebruary, 2016 – A brief introduction of the community service was given to the students of Grade HKG
  • 4th February (Thursday): An announcement during the Junior school assembly was made.
  • 5th February (Friday): Students made and put up posters to spread awareness in school.
  • 8th February (Monday): An announcement during the Senior school assembly was made.
  • 9th February (Tuesday): An announcement during the Senior school assembly was made.
  • 10th February (Wednesday): An announcement during the Pre-Primary school assembly was made.
  • 16th February (Tuesday): Students shared their experience through a reflection and the same were displayed around school.
  • The students of Grade HKG executed the project with love and affection. It was a great learning experience for them. They were glad to spread happiness.
