Teachers' Day 2014

Our teachers are our most important mentors, they guide us every day. They don't only help us overcome our doubts with our syllabus but instill in us values that help us grow into better people.

This year, the students of the senior school put up a show as a means to thank the teachers for answering every single of one of our questions, no matter how annoying. To allow us to express us ourselves irrespective of whether we are right or wrong and most importantly for accepting us the way we are and helping us develop our strengths and work on our weaknesses.

Each grade contributed to make the event an astounding success. The IB students presented a short film that had everybody in splits because of the apt imitation of every teacher along with an alternative career path! The AS level conducted minute-to-win-it games which tested the speed and skills of the teachers and were thoroughly enjoyed by them. The 12th graders also conducted a game involving the coordinators and their secretaries which checked the bond between the two through a few general questions. The audience cheered for the many correct and interesting answers and the game was fun for both the participants and the onlookers. A few students from the 10th grade put up a dance that provided for great entertainment.

The show ended with a video that consisted of various students speaking about why they love their teachers and all the reasons they wanted to thank them for. We hope that our teachers enjoyed watching the show as much as we enjoyed putting it up for them!
