Aeka Chatra of grade 7 participated at the Glenmark Aquatic Foundation (GAF) - Greater Mumbai Amateur Aquatic Association (GMAAA) Annual Junior and Sub-Junior Aquatic Meet cum Selection Trial at Tata Power Swimming Pool, Mumbai from May 6 to May 8, 2016 

Aeka won the Individual Championship in her age group with six (6) medals in total with five (5) gold and one (1) silver medals. She broke five (5) meet records with three (3) in her individual events and two (2) in the relay races.
