We believe Mathematics is an expression of synonymous creativity and logic. With the purpose of motivating students and teachers as well improving their higher order thinking skills, Aditya Birla World Academy in collaboration with the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani is organizing INFINITY-2014. The competition is a student led initiative, and will be planned logistically by the IB and A level students of Grade 11.

INFINITY-2014 will be challenging, as the questions have been framed by the professors of BITS Pilani and the Mathematics Department of the school, with the intention of rousing intellectual curiosity in every student's mind.

Participation will help knowledge of the subject to increase exponentially, the learning will be infinite and the competition will motivate towards perfection, with as much commitment as an asymptote tries to reach an axis.

Students will be faced with four different challenges:

• 'Clash of the Titans'- the Individual contest
• 'Math Challengers'- the Team contest
• 'Enigma'- the Research Report Writing contest
• 'Quizzitch'- the Math Quiz.

The best research work of "Enigma" will be published in the BITS journal and annual magazine!
