The Department of Career Guidance and Counselling conducted a University visit on 04th
September 2018 held in the AV Room. The visiting institution was the University of
Cambridge, UK.

A comprehensive presentation was given to the parents and students on the pathways to be a
part of the University of Cambridge. The presentation contained the details of the best
courses offered, colleges to choose, application requirements and process, written
assessments and the interview at the University of Cambridge.

Under the University of Cambridge, there are a total of 29 undergraduate colleges with a
wide of courses offered in the areas of Sciences, Liberal Arts and Management Studies. One
of the distinctive characteristics of the courses is that they cover the subject area very
broadly in the initial years and then offer a wide range of options in which to specialize in
the later years.

This enlightening presentation provided a better outlook for students and parents to widen
their horizons for making the best career choices.
